Wicked Whammy is not dead

It’s been over a week since my last post, but I haven’t quit yet. During my blogging days I’ve had quite a few management requests from unsigned artists and so far I haven’t had the extra time for artist management projects. So, now I decided to do something about it - I set up an artist management company that will focus on online music marketing, artist branding and consulting, and it will be launched in January 2008. I hope my new company can offer something new to the current music industry and give a helping hand to all unsigned artists, who believe in themselves.

Eventually Wicked Whammy blog will move to a new adress, which I will announce later, but for now I will keep on posting music marketing ideas here. The time intervals between posts might be longer during the coming few weeks, but I will get back to rhythm as soon as I have launched my company.

  1. Look forward to seeing what you do with the artist management company. Even if it doesn’t add anything new perse it will add another source for musicians to choose from. I think many artists will prefer working with you over many of the other options out there.

  2. Thanks for the support Netvalar, I really appreciate it. I’m just now finishing up the new website, and thinking everything through before launching my new company. I honestly believe that musicians are going to find it useful.

    The ideology of my company is that I share my music business information and know-how through my blog and all artists are very welcome to use my advice. However, if some artists don’t have the time or they are still not comfortabel using all the new music marketing and distribution services, I will personally help them. This service costs to the artist, but I try to keep the price low enough so that artists could afford it.

    can I sign up in advance for that management company? I love your ideas, your approach, your personal touch, man I even love your web site lay-out!

    And of course (you already know me), I have a band that’s all for using the technology of today to get out there as fast as possible. And I have a job (in a software company that also uses today’s technology to the max), so we can even work something out financially if that’s how you see it.

    Hope to hear for you, and in any way keep up the cool work!
